Earth Day puts our environment to the front of our radar, but it is only a reminder of the importance of "going green." One popular trend in weddings is making your wedding more eco-friendly, and there are a number of ways to do it.
I posted an article a few months ago that contained a number of great resources for those looking for a "Green Wedding." Start there! If you're planning a wedding around the holidays, here are some resources for your winter wedding, or your Christmas-themed wedding.
Although the Michigan economy is a tough one, many signs are pointing in the right direction for a economic (albeit a slow one) recovery. That has not stopped brides from having "DIY Weddings", or "Do-It-Yourself."
One is an celebration of a milestone in the life of two loved ones, the other is a holiday known for its costumes, candy, and trick-or-treating. And while Halloween and your wedding can be equally scary, they actually have a lot more in common than you would think.

New Year's Day normally signals a time of new beginnings. It is traditionally the time of year for resolutions, to change your lifestyle, or to pick up a new (and healthy) habit. If you are getting married in 2010, are in a relationship, or even are currently married, why not make some New Year's Resolutions for the two of you as a couple? Here are a few ideas:
Destination weddings are a growing industry trend, but for many Michagan-ders, there are several great "destination" locations right here in Michigan One such venue is Castle Farms in Charlevoix, MI, which is roughly a 5-6 hour drive from the Metro-Detroit area, but you will feel transported to another place and time altogether.
