In terms of practicality, a Thanksgiving wedding (meaning the Friday or Saturday afterwards) has some benefits. Consider that the Friday after Thanksgiving is usually a day off of work for all of your guests, and this can allow you to plan an earlier wedding than normal for a Friday. Plus, most of your family will probably be in town for the holidays, sparing them the extra travel expenses. Lastly, it may be a good idea to utilize the day before Thanksgiving, where if you have the day off you can spend it making all of your last minute wedding planning.
Not to mention that fall weddings make for beautiful photos and video! If you have seen or had any cool Thanksgiving weddings be sure to post your comments!
